If my memory serves me right on Win16, the location of the Oracle.ini file was pointed at from a setting in the [Oracle] section in *win.ini*. Something like the following would be typical:

[Oracle]
ORA_CONFIG=C:\ORAWIN\ORACLE.INI Steve Phelan. Received on Sun Mar 23 1997 - 00:00:00 CST
