ODBC performance, How ?

Hi all,

Even though ODBC provides lots of benefits, we run into the performance problem when using ODBC drivers for Oracle DBMS.

Since we already have a large code base using ODBC, we are thinking to implement the ODBC interface directly on top of Oracle/OCI.

It's not a trivial task. So I wonder if someone out there has done the similar work ?
