Probably the best reference is "Oracle PL/SQL Programming" by Steven
Feuerstein (publisher O'Reilly and Associates).   Be careful when
purchasing ... there is an identical (in apperance) "Advanced" edition
(same author and publisher) which extends far beyond the basics.
