repository problem

Hello. I'm a oracle newbie.. having some problems setting up.

I'm running oracle 7.3 under NT4, with enterprise manager 1.2.2 When I first try to run enterprise manager, I login as SYSTEM. It gives me error VAX-14001: repository (version 1.1) is not compatible with E. Manger (version 1.22)

I read the docs and ran the following upgrade script with SQL worksheet.

C:\ORACLE\SYSMAN\ADMIN\smpupg01.sql

Now, when I login again i get this:

VOC-00114: The login credentials you have supplied are for a non-repository database. Please verify that you have supplied the correct credentials and that the necessary installation script have been run on the database.

throughout the process, I've been login in as SYSTEM.
