Oracle to Informix connection

does anybody know how to connect oracle
and informix together. i would envision some form of control over an informix database through the oracle RDBMS. i.e. some form of online connection between the informix and oracle sides. the setup would be integrating two hardware platforms (SUN Oracle, HP Informix) both running under unix

any type of comments will be gladly accepted!
