Cost optimizer in Oracle 7.3.2.1.0 for Digital Unix

        Hello all!

        I have had some trouble with the cost optimizer (choose option) of my new Oracle7 Enterprise Server 7.3.2.1.0 for Digital Unix!

        On of my application update has took more than 3 hours in the cost optimizer versus 10 minutes in the rule one.

        And one of my simple query (SELECT ONE_VALUE, MAX(ONE_DATE) FROM ATABLE GROUP BY ONE_VALUE) does not work with the cost optimizer. The session aborts with the ORA-03113 error (End of communication channel). With the rule on all works fine...

        When Oracle will do a better work with the cost optimizer...
