Greetings, all!

One of the biggest problems with Oracle that I've found is that depending on what the driver is written to look for (either 16 bit or 32 bit), it will only work with that, and none other. This wouldn't necessarily be a problem, except:

  1. They often don't tell you which needs what
  2. You generally have to have both drivers
  3. You probably have to have them is separate directories.

I'd say try them with both drivers, see which works, and make a note. When I've gotten that error, I've used trial and error to see which driver actually worked.
