left joins in Access to Oracle causing GPFs

All,

Our developers are having some problems with the 16-bit Oracle ODBC drivers (from Oracle Corporation) and a VB application. The queries are going through the Jet engine, and getting passed on to the driver and on to Oracle. Using v1.11 of the drivers, all but one Access query works. Using version 1.15, 90% of queries fail. Using 1.16, only 3 queries fail. They get a GPF when the queries fail.

The developers tell me that the queries that fail are typically LEFT JOIN queries in Access. Are there any issues with performing left join queries in Access against Oracle via ODBC? Has anyone else had similar problems?

Thanks for any help,
Brian
