Dear Atif,

Easy to do, if you are clueless as to what you are doing, as some of your earlier posts about Solaris and Oracle have indicated - track down the more recent posts from the original author for the history on this.

I suggest that you sit down, pour yourself a nice hot cup of tea and read the documentation that comes with the Oracle distribution for x86. It is a very easy install, but there a number of pre and post install steps that you should (read *must*) follow.

If you have followed the OFA recommendations then you can just blow away the entire directory hierachy under your base install directory. If not, you are on your own, but then you knew that when you deviated from the OFA <grin>.

I'm running x86/v7.3 and there were no installation problems. I read the doco and recommend that you do the same. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact me, as you are obviously making more work for yourself than is necessary.
