dbms_photoshop from our russian noticed that STOPKEY with RANK stops at the same number of rows as DENSE_RANK, so stopkey works only when number of unique values becomes more than requested. Because of that, in case of duplicate values, WINDOW NOSORT STOPKEY with RANK will scan always more rows than DENSE_RANK with the same predicates...
