Folks,
I need some input related to some Linux settings for Oracle. The Linux dist=
ro is Red Hat 6.5. I have the following questions:

* I/O scheduler - The default scheduler is Completely Fair Queuing =
(CFQ). However, it seems that for the Oracle Unbreakable Linux kernel, the =
DEADLINE I/O scheduler is the default. For Red Hat, what do people normally=
 set it to for highly IO intensive ERP systems?

* Mount point options - Are there any recommendations for the mount=
 points related settings for the FC storage? (noatime, nodiratime, max_batc=
h_time=3D0, nobarrier)

* Any other I/O related setting(s) that one should look into changi=
ng from the default value?

Any feedback will be appreciated.

Tanks,
Amir
