Well- that’s a good point, I don’t have to stick with Fedora, but my company is primarily a Red Hat shop.

Does it have to be Fedora? You can get Oracle Enterprise Linux for free and simply add on the public repositories for some support.

You can get RHEL in the form of Centos and/or Scientific Linux (my preference) which both include updates and patches at no cost.

I want to set up a Red Hat Fedora test machine at home to run 12c and Grid Control. Any recommendations on the most reliable Fedora version ? Right now I am using rev 17 but I am considering upgrading.
