Exadata and Oracle managed Files

Hello List, We are in the middle implementing Exadata and a question came in - should we use OMF or not? OMF will help any way in Exadata other than simplifying file management ? We are planning to migrate the databases using Cross platform TTS. While doing TTS, we need to mention the full qualified names which will be treated as non-OMF files?
