dbca 11g and em 12c agent

has anyone ever used DBCA 11g to configure an EM 12c agent for their database? either during the "create database" stage or by going back to the "configure database options" functionality of DBCA?

I haven't had any luck getting "configure database options" to work so far with EM 12c.
