Yup, that's true in that we could extend EM and do have a number of UDM's already. I just wanted to check all my bases before polishing my script a bit and even dusting off my blog and presenting it there. Thx though.

We use home-grown scripts.

svc_on_pref.sh: Check to see if services are running on their preferred instances. Notify us if not.

and

ck_lsnr_svc_upd.sh: 11g only (10g script is quite different). Check listener service update making sure pmon's on all instances update their info with all SCAN listeners.
