Backup of Flashback Archive Enabled Tables

The environment: Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.3.0 - 64bit Production
We are planning on extensive use of flashback enabled tables. The standard here is to do exports of tables to provide application level recover ability. Oracle doesn't currently support export/import for flashback enabled tables although they leave the possibility open for a future release. We are looking at alternative approaches short of full database backups. Are there any?
