I don't know if this new or expected behaviour in 11.2, but when I log into a db with Oracle Spatial installed, Spatial is not listed as an option in the banner for sqlplus.
e.g.
Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.3.0 - 64bit Production With the Partitioning, OLAP, Data Mining and Real Application Testing options

Shouldn't Spatial be listed in there somewhere?
It does appear in v$option and in dba_registry as valid.
