Consider upgrading all the way to Clusterware 11gR2 and ASM 11gR2.  They 
support database back to 10gR2 and have a lot of fixes and additional 
controls that make them worth investigation.  Ultimately that would save 
you another upgrade in the moderately near term.

Takes a bit extra planning, but IMHO, worth it if you can take the time.
