Patching question

Patching Experts,
I am reviewing the notes on the latest CPU/PSU January 2011 patches. I have a database server, grid control server (w/ repository db) and an application server. Am I correct to say that the 10031947 patch (middletier) needs to be applied to the Oracle AS home on the application server and the OMS home on the grid control server? The notes are a bit vague, but they do mention the repository DB and the middletier need to be patched separately for the OMS.
