Not sure what you got into but likely any dropping of RBS/UNDO objects on a live system will cause problems.

Off the top of my head and more from the perspective of traditional RBS I think have done;

This could be done on a live system, but not sure how this approach would work with existing UNDO tablespace (auto UNDO segments)?

you cant drop datafiles from a tablespace anyway (without dropping the tablespace as well).
 However you can create a new undo tablespace for temporary work while you do whatever it is you need to do
