1-Shutdown entire database
2-Copy all files including the control files - don't need to create from a script
3-Startup mount
4-alter database open resetlogs=20

IIRC, you will have to startup mount the new database and recover it before you can open it. The backup and recovery experts on the list will correct me if I=3DE8m wrong.
