Oracle 10.1.0.2.0 64 bit  

Does the following extract from a trace file really mean that oracle is only fetching between 1 and 6 bytes per call?  

WAIT #2: nam='SQL*Net more data from dblink' ela= 44 p1=1413697536 p2=2 p3=0

WAIT #2: nam='SQL*Net more data from dblink' ela= 47 p1=1413697536 p2=6 p3=0

WAIT #2: nam='SQL*Net more data from dblink' ela= 51 p1=1413697536 p2=3 p3=0

WAIT #2: nam='SQL*Net more data from dblink' ela= 54 p1=1413697536 p2=1 p3=0

WAIT #2: nam='SQL*Net more data from dblink' ela= 45 p1=1413697536 p2=4 p3=0

WAIT #2: nam='SQL*Net more data from dblink' ela= 39 p1=1413697536 p2=1 p3=0

WAIT #2: nam='SQL*Net more data from dblink' ela= 52 p1=1413697536 p2=5 p3=0
