Hi list, I was reading and article, some "investigation" says windows will be the operating system of the future. The person who writes this article don't loves microsoft window anyway, but money does miracles.

Well the true at least for small and medium business here, many prefer to use windows, maybe this is true at least for client os.

I don't know about other places, I should say other places other than europe at least.

Did you heard this new?, Is true in you work, in percentage how much machines has microsoft windows.

I think this is important for a dba, because one must be searching utilities and others to work in a specific operating system. And in one or another way one have to "study" and "specialize" in the operating system to work with. Any way I'll have to learn linux for the master certification.

I think the excess of warm in the earth does not benefit penguinneither linux penguin.
