I think I may try the MS for UNIX and a couple of the VNCs BTW Ive used putty http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/ to access my my web servers through SSH and it does well for lightweight work on the Linux server , Im afraid its lacking on the terminal emulation side for any type of substantial interaction with the server. So, I now have a better idea of the UNIX server landscape. I come from a small software company where I was the dba and sa for their 15 or so nt and 2k servers, and now Im most likely moving to a UNIX server environment where I wont be acting as the sa ;-) So I wanted to get a feeling of what the topography looked like. I'm pretty sure I can handle my own from the OS utility perspective but will definitely need to practice my shell scripts and the like. Thanks!
