Do you find the information useful?

I have an MBA in Marketing and Finance. The Marketing was a special emphasis on Marketing to the Federal Government. The Finance was a special emphasis on Small Portfolio Management.

Marketing to the Federal Government has been very useful.

Small Portfolio Management --- less useful, but I do have a "small" portfolio.

Has it helped you move up through management?

I helps you get hired. After that it's up to you. I got far enough into management to realize that I valued technical competence over a fancy office and a title. The money is about the same - except for group performance bonuses. If computers are just a job to you then management will probably be a better paying job for you.
