Joe,
I believe that there is an oraclepram.ini file that is checked to verify the server is complient with the Oracle. You could comment out items to fake it out and continue the install. Ron

Has anyone been able to force the installer to bypass the memory check on
linux. laptop only has 512M, and i'm not in position to purchase a new
one so i can put 1G of ram in it.

i'm pretty sure it reads /proc/meminfo.

any ideas would be appreciated.

thanks, joe
