Ed,
After quite some analysis, my evaluation team is leaning toward the
following tools:

Golden32(Benthic)
http://www.benthicsoftware.com/down/goldensetup57418.exe
  35/-)

Active+lite(Iraje) http://www.iraje.com/promos/pap/aplite.exe
(Free/575/-)

Strangely, there are no reviews on these tools...any help would be
appreciated...

Dear group,
Following are the tools suggested for windows. I would really
appreciate
your experienced feedback/insights in picking the appropriate one. If
you
can rate/rank the tools below with some reasons, that would be a great
help
to me (as well as the Oracle community...I'm sure).

Toad-SQL editor (Quest) http://www.quest.com/toad/trial.asp (795/-)

Navigator-SQL editor(Quest) http://www.quest.com/sql_navigator/trial.asp

(795/-)

Golden32(Benthic)
http://www.benthicsoftware.com/down/goldensetup57418.exe
  35/-)

Active+lite(Iraje) http://www.iraje.com/promos/pap/aplite.exe
(Free/575/-)

Hora (Keeptool) http://www.keeptool.com/KeepTool6.1.exe (560/-)

Pl/Sql dev.(Allround Automation)
http://www.allroundautomations.com/plsqldev.exe (150/-)

SQL Editor(Allround Automation)
http://www.allroundautomation.com/doad7.exe
(129/-)

Am i missing any? (not editors such as vi, emacs, bbedit, notepad,
ultraedit32, etc. please!).

Our top priorities (in order of pref) are:
1. Strong Security for uninhibited use by all users and deployment
across
the corporation.
2. SQLPlus like editor with cut/paste/search/pick lists/...sqlplus
look&feel
(input)
3. Strong spreadsheet style results where developers/end users can work
effortlessly with result sets (output)
4. Ability to produce reports directly from the output
5. Ability to save queries which can be hosted for less technical staff.

What do you recommend? why?
