  Subject: listener ports

  Hi List,

I have two databases on my server. I want one of the database to listen on port 1522 instead of 1521. I have changed the parameter value in listener.ora file, but, when I try to connect from the client machine, I get the following error. I check the tnsname sid and hostname they are fine.   TNS:listener could not resolve SID given in connect descriptor

  Rgds
  Jaffar
