Metalink is not the right place to look for each and every HP-UX shared lib. You shoud do something like "find /usr -name libfl.sl -print" (user:root) and if
the directory is found, then put it into LD_LIBRARY_PATH (when HP-UX matures enough,
it will have something like ld.so.conf and ldconfig). If the file is not found, contact
Your friendly HP support and ask them what that is.

Hey all,

While relinking using "relink all" on 8.1.7.4 after a successful OS patch on HP/UX 11.0, I got this:

[obviously edited for space] No search on "libfl" turns up anything on MetaLink and only sparse hits on Google. The only one that seemed to have any clue as to what "libfl" is was one post that thought it was a flex library (as in bison/flex). Oracle seems to have relinked OK, and all's working, but any error in a relink leaves me less than warm'n'fuzzy. The good news is that it didn't happen on our production server!

Anyone seen this before?

TIA,
Rich
