Re: Standby database & ORA-16016

Hi!

I think archive log gap management is a new feature in 9i Data Guard. Check 9i's docs. You might have to build custom scripts for gap management in 8i.

Also, I recommend you to use documentation from authentic location, http://tahiti.oracle.com
