Hello all,

Now I'm confused. I have deinstalled as much 8.1.7 crap on my w2k box as the 8.1.7 installer will let me. However, do I need to clean up the registry? How can I tell which home will be the default? I'm concerned about the autostart entries. Under both the 8.1.7 and 9.2 homes (ID0 is pointing to the 81 home, ID1 is pointing to the 92 home) under HOME0 and HOME1, there are startup and shutdown entries for 81 and 92, respectively.

I already ran oradim and deleted the services, suppossedly. Is oradim suppossed to clean up the registry?

Any suggestions are appreciated. Nothing is jumping out at me on Metalink (when it chooses to respond)

Thanks

Lisa Koivu
