Online Redo logfiles on RAW ?

When Considering putting Online Redo logfiles on a RAW device , should the respective Raw device be created on a SINGLE/Mirrored Underlying Disk instead of on a set of multiple Striped (RAID 1+0) Disks ?

Does the known advantage of having Online Redo logfiles on SINGLE/Mirrored Disks instead of on Striped Disks for "MOUNTED" File systems also apply similarly to "RAW" Devices too ?

Thanks
