We have ORACLE 9iR2 running under SUN Solaris. I download a script from
ORACLE Metalink to check "open cursor" and found "open cursor usage" more
tnat 100%. the output are:

PARAMETER VALUE USAGE

---------------------- ----- -----
session_cached_cursors 100 77%
open_cursors 200 133%

my question are:

  1. we have only 12 sessions connect, why "open cursor" so high?
  2. why "open cursor usage " can > 100%?
  3. does their has way to check which session hold "open cursor"?

Thanks.
