The documentation in the Backup and Recovery Manual will tell you exactly how to do this.

  hi gurus,
  I was installed oracle 9.0.1in windows 2000 server and linux redhat 7.3. how to use RMAN in oracle 9i? what can I do to Backup my database use RMAN ?   Thank you
