i found that in my long job search [laid off 6/28/02 started this gig on 4/7/03] that most of the places wanted a degree and not having one got me ignored. even with 20+ years experience programming and 10 as a DBA. and me without an OCP either.;-) [no let's not start that one again, please. i don't have it and don't intend to get it unless someone insists i do and pays for it.]

as for "captains" hell i didn't give 'em 20 when i was in, why now?;-)
