Hi, DBAs,

According to Oracle, "when the materialized view is refreshed, the corresponding row(s) are removed from the log." But I could not make it happened. No matter what I use "alter materialized view ... refresh complete, fast, force", the underline materialized view log won't delete its rows. By the way, I have tried refresh all the related materialized views, the underline materialized view log is the same. Do you know why or what the requirements for Oracle automatically remove the rows in materialized view log.

This is Oracle 9.2.0 on Linux Red Hat 8.

Much appreciated for your input.

Chuan
