There were a bunch of other features but the one that I most noticed (and that they highlighted) was the patching one.

You can start/stop databases, check everything within the database etc etc.

all pretty GUIs. It's not that OEM is bad, it's just that that one feature scared me silly. And I tend not to like GUIs as they don't always run properly when I am logged in from home, or I don't have it installed on my machine at home etc etc. so I still like to get "hands-on" with the database.
