Ron, is this DB on a cluster? If so, make sure you're checking the right node's time. If not, well, I'm not sure <blush>.

To: Multiple recipients of list ORACLE-L

List,
 OS OpenVMS
Oracle 8.1.7

Then I check the sysdate for the time I see that the Oracle time is about 15 minutes faster than the OS time. I have asked the sysadmin to check the Time Differental Parameters that were listed on Metalink and I await the results.
Has anyone else experienced this problem where the times are different and how did you correct it?
Thanks,
Ron
