DB Cloning from 8.1.6 to 9.0.1 ?

Guys,

i cloned ORADB1 on 8.1.6.0/win2k to ORADB2 (8.1.6.0/win2k) on another machine. can i do the same from
ORADB1 on 8.1.6.0/win2k to ORADB2 (9.0.1./win2k) on another machine. is this possible ?
