Solaris threads increase Oracle perf 400%???

Has anyone read the whitepaper on Solaris threads at:

http://solarisinternals.com/si/reading/index.php#threads ???

It claims that the implementation, which appears to be a simple redefinition of LD_LIBRARY_PATH (and my guess, a relink of Oracle), caused "up to a 400-percent performance improvement [in] an Oracle OLAP workload test".

There's no details, of course. Anyone tried this? A co-worker saw this and wants to try it out (frankly, me too!), but I want to know if anyone else has any experience with it.
