Are you sure the datafiles are growing and it is not that somebody has placed an export dmp file there (just guessing that from the name of the filesystem!!) I am not sure what you when when you say you have datafiles saved there?. Are they the current datafiles or old copies. If they are old copies then you could compress them or archive them off to tape or move them elsewhere.
