No it doesn't. oradim is used to create/start/stop oracle services. There is no such thing as NT services on Unix.

does oradim work in Unix boxes? I've never used it

And it took a LOT of releases and warnings before they got rid of svrmgr.. they started saying it was going away in version 7 I believe.
