I don't know whether I should ask this question here or some other group, so please pardon me in advance if I made any mistake/error.

Some company (smartcertify) called me and said that they will teach me Oracle 8i -- DBA for $2800 , and also will help me to get a good job. It(whole DBA course) will be done around six months.

What do u think about that proposal? Is anything fishy?

Please advice me.
