Dear list,

Several have asked about the release of the book "Perl for Oracle DBA's" that Andy Duncan and I coauthored.

Just thought I would let you know that the code for the book has been put up on the O'Reilly Website, so if you want to get a look at it, it's available at:

  http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/oracleperl/

Click on 'Toolkit Download' to get the code.

There are Win32 and Unix versions of the toolkit. The *.PPD files are for use by ActiveState Perl's PPM package manager, and may not display properly in a browser. That's OK, as they aren't really meant to, though the only browser that appears to be a problem is IE.

If you download the toolkit, be *sure* to read the README files.
