Except for a few path changes and/or a few query changes for v$ or DBA_ tables.

Good luck upgrading OEM in place on the same machine AND maintinaining all your scheduled jobs without interruption. Which reminds me of another one:

Advantages of rolling your own:

Well, that last bullet point seems to be temporary with me, I seem to forget stuff after not being close to it for awhile.

That also serves to point out what a disconnect GUI tools are.
