Nirmal,

Perhaps the replies re AlertView have answered your question. AFAICR it requires FTP service to be running. You did not specify your Operating System. Do you simply want to view the Alert logs and Trace files for the various databases or be alerted if an error appears in Alert Log or a new trace file is created?.
