Yes, I've done that. Oracle is telling me that doing dml and running iMedia queries simultaneously is causing a consistent read problem and I should not use ctxsrv to resync the index. They're telling me to run sync_index as a scheduled job because ctxsrv is going away. Glad to see Oracle is moving forward.

You may want to connect as ctxsys and query the user_libraries view to make sure the library paths are pointing to your new 8.1.7 Oracle_home. Just a thought.
