Wait Time: Up to 3 seconds, if not posted before. smon timer This is the main idle event for SMON. SMON will be waiting on this event most of the time until it times out or is posted by another process. Wait Time: 5 minutes (300 seconds) SQL*Net message from client The server process (foreground process) waits for a message from the client process to arrive. Any information or pointer to a doc is greatly apprecitated.
