Hi,

Oracle 8.1.7 EE
OS: all

I am trying to implement Partitioning of Tables & Indexes on a database
which has non-partitioned tables & indexes. I am looking for suggestions
& gotchas from people who implemented. Couple of specific questions I
have are

1. Once I create a table with partitioning, Do I need to use special
techniques to import from old non-partitioned table ??

2. Can I add new partitions from PL/SQL using DBMS_SQL or EXECUTE
IMMEDIATE ??

3. Any other specific things I need to be aware of ??

Thanks in advance..
