Maybe....However in my experience a shutdown abort and startup was most of the times quickier than shutdown immediate and wait for the unfinished rollback. Remember that one thing is recover because of the abort and another thing is to rollback managed by the parameter cleanup_rollback_entries and in the wakeup frecuency of PMON. Even though pay now or pay later sometimes is true. :)
